Maximum velocity of rotation: vrot

This quantity is the physical maximum velocity rotation corrected for inclination, expressed in km/s. It is deduced from the parameter vmaxg after correcting for inclination using incl.

This rotation velocity is calculated from both the 21-cm line widths at different levels and/or the available rotation curves (generally H_alpha rotation curves).

The rotation of the stellar component is given in the parameter vmaxs.
